EXHALE

This is a little poem I wrote for my friend who got married yesterday - Mrs O.  Wishing you a love filled life.  

EXHALE

I took a deep breathe

But now I exhale

Because I found you

You are the one who holds my hands

And stokes all the pain away

You are the love of my life

The rest of my life

You are the only love that matters

You are the one my heart longs for

You have brought joy to me

So much more than I could describe

You are the one my soul longs for

Now the future seems brighter

I know some days and nights will be cold

But have no fear for I have none

I will be there and so will you 

Together we will be

Sharing our warmth

And weathering the storm

I promise you my undying love as you do yours

When the road becomes rough

And the valley deeper

When there is joy, laughter

And trophies too,

I will be there and so will you

And now we exhale….

Because we have found love.
